UCS Elementary Virtual Academy

Week of December 6-10, 2021

UCS Mission

We are committed to exemplary teaching and learning in order for our students to be prepared for success in the 21st Century.

We will achieve this commitment by engaging the entire community to focus on each child's achievement, with the expectation that every student will pursue some type of post-high school educational endeavor.

Virtual Academy Expectations

Students are expected to turn the camera on whenever they are participating in a TEAMS meeting. The camera should be angled so that the complete student's face is within the screen at all times. This includes while in a class, small group, individual or specialist meeting.

Please talk with your student about the expectations within the TEAMS chat. Students should refrain from having secondary chats occurring during the school day. All chats, whether within or outside of school hours, should only contain school appropriate language and images.

KEEP AN EYE OUT

Make sure to check out the home school communication for updates on school activities that are coming up. Virtual Academy students are welcome to participate in school activities offered at their home school.
