Eligibility
The $2,000 Nitro Scholarship Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) Saturday, January 01, 2022 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Saturday, December 31, 2022 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstake. The $2,000 Nitro Scholarship Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, age 17 or older at the time of entry, and who meet one (1) of the five (5) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry:
- a parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;
- a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;
- a parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior located within the United States;
- a student who is currently enrolled as a high school senior located with the United States;
- a student or a parent whose child has graduated from an accredited undergraduate school (a “School) and who is currently paying back a student or parent loan for his/her/child’s educational expenses for such School (“Entrant”).

Open to all current and prospective students.
Entrants must be a legal resident of the United States.
Only one (1) entry allowed per person/email address/household during the Promotion Period. Registered Niche.com users can apply at any time. However, once you have applied, you can no longer apply again. Duplicate entries will result in disqualification.
Scholarships or prizes will be awarded directly to the winners.
Winners will be notified by e-mail and posted on https://www.niche.com/about/scholarship-winners/.

The scholarship contest (“Sweepstakes”) starts on October 17th, 2022 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”). For online entries, the scholarship ends on December 14th, 2022, at 11:00 PM ET. For mail-in entry, the scholarship ends on December 14th, 2022 at 11:00 PM for the postmarking of a mail-in entry (“Promotion Period”). The sponsor and/or administrator of the Sweepstakes reserve the right to extend or shorten the Sweepstakes at their sole discretion. The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Niche.com, Inc. located at 2840 Liberty Avenue Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (“Sponsor”), and the administrator of this Sweepstakes is Niche.com, Inc. located at 2840 Liberty Avenue Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (“Administrator”). Neither Fastweb, LLC, Facebook, Inc, Google, Inc., nor any 3rd party social media platforms are sponsors of or associated with this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who: (a) are either at least eighteen (18) years of age or older (except in the case of legal residents of certain states or commonwealths where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, then such legal age of majority) at the time of entry, or at least thirteen (13) years of age at the time of entry and have a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent and supervision to use Niche.com and enter this Sweepstakes; and (b) are current college students or planning to enroll in college (for the purpose of the Sweepstakes, “college” refers to any post-secondary school listed on Niche.com). Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of the Sponsor, the Administrator, or their respective parent and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Promotion Parties”) are not eligible to participate or win the Prize (defined below). The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, overseas military installations and where prohibited or restricted by law.
The Century Scholars Program (CSP) is a four-year learning community that supports underrepresented students from selected Texas high schools through an academic scholarship. Through a freshman seminar, community service, and other professional and cultural development opportunities, Century Scholars are prepared for the rigors of the academic and professional arenas.
The Century Scholars Program offers:
- $20,000 scholarship over four years
- $1,000 Study Abroad stipend
- Freshman seminar course
- Opportunity to fulfill program requirements by joining the Century Scholars Organization (CSO)
- Hands-on contact with program advisors
- Professional training in public speaking, interviewing, and presenting
- Mentorship experiences with upperclassmen, faculty, and staff

Below are scholarship opportunities for Humble ISD students through the Humble ISD Education Foundation.
Applications for the 2022-2023 school year will open on Monday, December 5, 2022 and the Deadline to submit applications is March 5,2023
Brenda Prothe Memorial Scholarship
- This scholarship is established to honor the life, character, and spirit of Brenda Prothe. To honor Brenda’s memory, the this scholarship will award $500 annually to four seniors chosen from among the Humble ISD high schools.
Christian Holley CLASS Award
- This scholarship is awarded to at least one student-athlete in Humble ISD that is involved in the community, performs in the classroom, demonstrates good character, and participates in athletics competition.
- If you have a dream in your heart to become all you can be in life and you need encouragement, then this scholarship is for YOU! The Dream Team is looking for graduates who want to make a difference while pursuing their dreams. What YOU DREAM about is our main goal. Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be a senior currently enrolled in Humble ISD. At least one student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, must intend to major in education, and attend a Texas college or university. Two senior students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship.
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, must intend to pursue a career in the field of criminal justice, and demonstrate financial need. One senior student will each receive a scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble ISD and must have completed at least three years from Kindergarten through fifth grade at Humble Elementary. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble High School and must intend to enroll in an accredited four-year, two-year college or vocational/technical program. Five senior students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA and be a member of the HHS PTSA. Two senior students will each receive a $500 scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble High School, must demonstrate athletic and community involvement. Two senior students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a career in Health Care and have at least a 3.0 GPA. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble High School, must have attended River Pines Elementary, and must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical institute. One senior student will receive this scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA, be a member of the Ross Sterling PTA. Applicants must have completed two school years at Ross Sterling. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical education, must be enrolled in CTE courses, and must demonstrate a meaningful contribution to community service. One senior student will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical education and must demonstrate a meaningful contribution to community service. One senior student will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Student Athletic Assistant Scholarship
- Applicants must attend Humble ISD and must have been active in their school’s sports athletic program as student athletic assistants. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.
Student Athletic Trainer Scholarship
- This scholarships recognize the many efforts and achievements of the student athletic trainers at the five high schools within Humble ISD. Three graduating seniors will receive a $1,500, $1,000 or $500 scholarship.
- Applicants must attend Humble ISD and must be from economically disadvantaged household. Scholars should be First Generation College Bound (FGCB). One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.
Wildcat All -Sports Booster Club
- Humble Wildcats All-Sports Booster is a parent organization that works in conjunction with the coaching staff to support and enhance ALL of the athletic programs at Humble High School. Selected student-athletes will receive up to $500.00 scholarships based on applications that take into account leadership, athletic participation, academics, and a written essay.
