From the nurse
Please visit the Attleboro Public Schools website and look under the for families tab then health services where you will find the COVID19 tab with lots of great information regarding COVID 19 including the current guidelines, travel guidelines and a symptom checker. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Please consider signing up for the COVID testing program offered at our schools if you haven't already done so. This includes weekly routine testing but also includes symptomatic testing and the test and stay program. The test and stay program allows your student to remain in school if they are considered a close contact to a positive case in school. Please contact me if you have any questions about this program. And please remember that our testing only involves swabbing the lower portion of the nose and we cannot test any students without documented consent.
Please don't forget to get you and your child's flu shot. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the timing of many respiratory viruses, and influenza may also follow a different pattern this year. That is why it is important to get vaccinated for the flu as soon as possible.
