A Newsletter for the Staff of Timberview Middle School
Week of 10/15-10/19
Good afternoon,
The constant rain has given me a chance to be thankful for sunny days, dry roads, and kids not tracking mud in the house. I am also grateful for everyone's persistence in being present at all duty stations during arrival/dismissal. It indeed is not fun standing in the rain but greeting our students sends a message that Timberview is a place where teachers care about students, even when soaking wet.
We covered SEL in the staff meeting this week, and I wanted to offer a couple of green circle starters if you are struggling to come up with ideas.
· Name two things or people who always make you laugh.
· What change would you like to see in your school? What can you do to promote that change?
We have added SPED and 504 documentation to the team drive. Please make sure you are completing the related forms in a timely manner.
Finally, one way to gain a better understanding of our district is to attend board meetings. Keller ISD's Board of Trustees will hold its monthly Regular Meeting on Monday, October 22. Follow @KellerISD to receive live updates throughout the meeting from General Counsel Amanda Bigbee, who will be guest tweeting from the District's account.
Let's have a great week!
