Friendly Traffic Reminders - In Person Families
Please be advised that you should not be double parking along Mountain Avenue (the street). The CHP has been out patrolling and asked us to message to families that tickets will be issued for those double parking.
Please stay in line for the traffic lane.
If your child is not ready for pick up yet, please drive around the traffic lane. The flow of traffic should continue.
Additionally, when you exit the traffic lane and turn right onto Mountain Avenue - please be sure to come to a complete stop to look for pedestrians.
Thank you so much!

Annual School Plan Survey
SEL Skill of the Week
This week Playworks is featuring a fun game that will help you identify problems and use problem-solving skills and creative thinking to solve it.
Social-Emotional Focus:
Analyzing Solutions – Looking at different ways to solve a problem and coming up with multiple answers.
Simplified Game Instructions
# of people to play: 4+
Best for ages: 6+
Setup/Teaching Time: 5 minutes
Equipment needed: None
Goal: To work together to find a solution.
Before You Start:
- Designate a starting line: players take ten steps away from their screen to be at their starting line.
- Designate a finish line: sitting in front of your screen.
How to Play:
- The object of the game is for all players to work together to go from the starting line (ten steps from their computer) to the finish line (seated in front of their screen), and back to the starting line without the leader guessing who is holding “the fish.”
- The leader will face away from their camera and say “Let’s go, Let’s go, Let’s go Fishing!”
- Players move while the leader is saying the phrase. However, before taking a step forward, players must do 2 jumping jacks.
- When the leader finishes the phrase, they turn around to face the screen, and all the players freeze. If anyone is still moving when the leader turns around, the whole group must go back to the starting line. Have the team discuss their strategy and improve it.
- If no players are caught moving, the leader turns around again and says the phrase “Let’s go, Let’s go, Let’s go Fishing!”, and the players can move closer to the finish line.
- Once all players have gotten to the finish line successfully, they will have 20 seconds to choose one player to hold the “fish.” The leader will turn their volume off while players are choosing. The player holding the “fish” will hold a nearby object behind their back, out of the view of the camera. Only the player holding the “fish” should have an object in their hands during the game.
- Once the player holding the “fish” has been chosen, each time the leader says the phrase “One, Two, Three, Fish!” all players are moving back towards the starting line. Now, each time the leader turns around, the leader is allowed 2 guesses during each freeze, to try to find out which player is holding the “fish.”
- If the leader guesses correctly, the players start over at the starting line. Have the team discuss their strategy and improve it.
- If the leader guesses incorrectly, they turn around, say the phrase again, and the players keep moving toward the starting line.
- This play rotation continues until either the player holding the “fish” is correctly identified, or the group gets back to the starting line successfully and a new round begins.
Important reminder for In-Person Activities on Campus

- Maintain at least a 6-foot distance from those who don't live in your household.
- Stay home if you are sick or if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for or experienced symptoms of COVID-19.
- The latest travel advisory and guidance continues to recommend that individuals avoid out-of-state non-essential travel.
