What's going on in the the world of Sequoia?
Great things are happening at Sequoia!
It has been exciting to visit teachers and students in our classrooms and see all the great things that are going on! 6th grade DISCOVER students and teachers just got back from the La Brea Tar Pits and nobody was eaten by a dinosaur. 7th grade students just wrapped up their cell projects for Science. ASB has been working hard coordinating Fun Fridays. COTY events, Music Mondays and the Dance was a tremendous success. WEB has coordinated 6th grade rallies in the gym and been visiting SURE classes providing positive strategies to be successful at Sequoia. Sequoia Teen Center Sports Teams are having a great fall season on their way to the playoffs. Our STEM for Girls Club just finished their first trip to the Ventura Bio Center. Builder's Club is working on their fall service project. As you can see, there are many great things I did not even get a chance to mention. Please continue to encourage your child to get involved, get active and get excited here at Sequoia!
