Office Remodel Update

I would genuinely like to thank all of you who have been able to donate towards the St. Louis School Office Renovation. This has been a project that I have put a lot of thought into. My goal is to make it warm and welcoming with better functionality for staff, students, and parents.

Labels for Education

At the end of this school year, Labels for Education will be discontinuing their program. This is only Labels for Education (found on Campbell's, Pepperidge Farm, BIC products and more), not the Boxtops which will still continue. We are having a contest to encourage everyone to send in all the labels they may have at home, starting May 5th and ending May 13th. The top five children who bring in the most Labels will receive an out of uniform pass! Thank you to all who have sent Labels in the past, we have redeemed them for many playground and classroom items over the years. Please contact Anne Meer, 812-933-0125 if you have any questions.

PHYSICALS, CONCUSSION, & REGISTRATION FORMS are due before you will be able to participate in any volleyball, football, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, track, golf open gyms, or practice of any kind. Registration forms will be updated and available on the website as soon as possible.

In the past we have collected these forms throughout the year and this has become problematic and time consuming.

Sisters of the Catechism Water Well

Dear SLS Parents,
We have been given an opportunity to help a Village in Kenya, Africa with a School & Convent, who lost their source of water.

One of our St. Louis parishioners was hosted at this convent during a past mission trip. They were recently contacted by the Sisters of the Catechism to see if we would pray for them & if we could help restore their water source. The cost for a new well is $5000 US dollars.

On Tuesday, May 10th, Students may bring in any loose change to their classroom. Once the change is counted, it will be donated to the Sisters of the Catechism Water Well fund from our school to theirs. The Sisters are also collecting Prayer Requests. If you have a Special Prayer request, please write it down on an index card & send it in with your change. The Sisters of the Catechism will read aloud each petition at a special Mass on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 14.

Thank you for your consideration in helping be the answer to their Prayer.
Let us be a Blessing to others, as we ourselves have been Blessed.

We will start walking at 7:15 and arrive at school by 7:35. Any questions or concerns, please contact April Baxter,

***If it happens to be raining that morning, SLS will not be walking to school.
