When: Tuesday, October 26th 5:30 - 6:30.

Where: Jones Center back field & trail - please note this is a fully outdoor event.

What: Annual Fall Family Festival. Activities include arts and crafts, photo booth, games and the culminating event is a Trick or Treat Trail.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. No weapons allowed.

Please remember that this is an outdoor event where masks are not required. We will not be able to contact trace at this event. Building access will only be allowed for restroom usage - and masks will be required if you enter the building to use the restroom.

Since it is a fully outdoor event, it will be held weather permitting. If we are unable to hold the even on the 26th, it will NOT be rescheduled.

Retake Picture Day: January 12th, 2022

If an original picture package was ordered and your student needs a retake please have your student bring the original picture package back to the photographer on retake day for a replacement. If your student was enrolled after original picture day or was absent on

A child who is sick will not be able to perform well in school and is likely to spread the illness to other children and staff.

It is strongly suggested that you should NOT send your child to school if he/she has:

• Common cold – irritated throat, watery discharge from the nose or eyes, sneezing, chills and/or general body aches. Keep your child home if symptoms are serious enough to interfere with your child’s ability to learn. Seek care from the doctor if symptoms persist beyond 7-10 days, fever or cough producing phlegm develops, or nasal discharge becomes yellow or green.
• Cough – Cough that interferes with the child’s ability to fully participate in classroom activities. Seek care from the doctor if the cough lasts beyond 7-10 days, or if coughing phlegm that is yellow or green.
• Fever – If the child’s temperature is 99.9 degrees or higher, the child should remain at home until they are without a fever for a full 24 hours without use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen.. Remember that a fever is a symptom indicating the presence of an illness.
• Flu – symptoms include abrupt onset of fever, chills, headache, and sore muscles. Runny nose, sore throat and cough are common. Your child should remain at home until the symptoms are gone and they are without a fever for a full 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen.

*Our goal is to share this important information with parents and guardians and we do not want child care to be a barrier. While children are welcome to attend, this is not an interactive child friendly session. This session is designed to support parents and provide the most current research on reading development.

David A. Kilpatrick, PhD is a professor of psychology for the State University of New York College at Cortland. He is a New York State certified school psychologist with 28 years experience in schools. He has been teaching courses in learning disabilities and educational psychology since 1994. David is a reading researcher and the author of two books on reading, Essentials of Assessing, Preventing, and Overcoming Reading Difficulties, and Equipped for Reading Success, and is a co-editor of a third, Reading Development and Difficulties: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice. Dave is also an associate editor of The Reading League Journal.

School attendance is vital for student success and academic growth. Please help your student(s) be successful by arriving to school on time each day. We also ask for your help in this area by attempting to schedule any necessary appointments either after school hours or on non-attendance days. Please remember that the arrival time for the Jones Center is 7:30. Students are tardy if they arrive after 7:45. If your child will be absent, please contact the school office by 8:00am. Also, if you have changes in plans regarding transportation home, please notify your child’s teacher or the school office before 1:00 at 816-359-4510.
