A Message from the Principal
Greetings St. Anthony Catholic High School Community!
Thank you God for a successful Homecoming Week! We had many parents, students and staff working tirelessly to decorate hallways, yard signs, the dance and many other activities to make Homecoming happen. A big thank you to Mr. Henry Garcia and Ms. Sheila Kizzart who led all the efforts for this special week. We sold over 300 tickets to the dance which was a great event to see so many of our beautiful children all dressed up and having fun. Our homecoming game was a big win for the Yellow Jackets with a win over TMI of 41-8. Thank you parents for your dedication to your children and the school!
Our Volleyball team is headed to the State Championship Games this weekend beginning on Friday. See the bracket picture below. We will have a special pep rally just for them and Halloween this Thursday at 2:15pm to give them lots of Yellow Jacket encouragement and pride to take with them. They also donated $300 to the WINGS organization as a fundraiser they collected this year to help breast cancer awareness.
Last Saturday, our Robotics team competed at St. Mary's University in a preliminary round of events. They showed off their many talents and skills. We are very proud of their continued efforts to shine the Yellow Jacket spirit in Robotics competitions.
We have a busy week with Mobile Go Units from UTSA and Alamo Community Colleges to assist with college applications, FAFSA and any other questions our students have. See schedule below.
On Wednesday, October 25, we encourage all students, staff and the community to wear ORANGE to stand in solidarity against bullying. All students can wear an orange shirt and jeans/pants (spirit day except with an orange shirt). We still have the anti-bully shirts on sale for $10 if you would like to purchase one.
We also have the Blood and Bone Marrow Drive from 9:00am-3:00pm in the library. The entire community is welcome to attend and give back.
We will close our special day on Wednesday with a delicious meal from a nice Italian restaurant to help support the Mission and Ministry of SACHS. Meals are only $6 for a FULL plate of food from 6pm-8pm.
We continue our week with lots of middle school tours and praying over these wonderful 8th graders that are visiting with us. We pray for their future and choosing the best high school.
Dear Gracious Father, we thank you for taking care of our school. We thank you for all the success you have bestowed upon the school You are building through so many wonderful people You have chosen as parents, students, staff, teachers, community members, priests, leaders and so many more that are coming to serve Your school. We ask for Your protection, wisdom and guidance as we move forward each day to serve You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
"All things work together for good to those who love God, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
May your life be blessed!

Wear ORANGE on Solidarity Day 2017!
Did you know that…
More than 1 out of every 5 students report being bullied?
In celebration of National Unity Day, Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio will observe Solidarity Day on Wednesday, October 25th in an effort to join schools across the United States in solidarity against bullying and united for kindness, compassion, and acceptance.
National Bullying Prevention Month is a nationwide campaign founded in 2006 by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center. The campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities around the world to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.
Make it ORANGE and make it end! What are your true colors when it comes to showing that you care about preventing bullying? Come together in one giant message of hope and support, wear and share orange to color our nation, and even the world, visibly showing that our society believes that no child should be bullied.
Unity Day is sponsored by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. https://www.pacer.org/bullying/
