Virtual SOL Pep Rally
Share words of encouragement with students before testing!
Share the Love
Last year was the first year we created Virtual SOL Pep Rally videos for our schools. If you were at a School-Wide Pep Rally that played the videos live, you probably witnessed the excitement and cheers of the students as they watched you rooting for them! If you would like to add a video clip to your Pep Rally, use the link below. Find your school. Then, click on the big plus sign to get started. Make your 90 seconds memorable! After your video is saved, you'll be prompted to take a selfie with your webcam that will become the thumbnail for your video clip! You can even add stickers if you'd like. If you haven't seen the videos for your school, check them out after you record.

How can You use Flipgrid with Your Students?
End-of-the-Year Flipgrid Ideas
- Have students share thanks for the support from their family.
- Students can video themselves leaving a message for students coming up to their grade level next year. They can include thoughts about what to expect and tips that might make things easier.
- Post a Word Problem of the Day in the format of Would you Rather Math. This site might give you some ideas.
- Just for fun: Share art or an activity and record a description. (Will be a good fit for shy students as well. They can show off their projects instead of their faces)
