SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee

This week our students participated in our annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. Congratulations to all participants for taking on something that is not required to improve their spelling, vocabulary, public speaking, articulation, poise and writing skills. All participating students are achievers going above and beyond expectations of the curriculum.

After 21 rigorous rounds, we have our top three winners!

Third Place, Mayuri Perumal

Second Place, Aryan Bansal

First Place, Simran Bassi

Simran Bassi, Clarendon School's 2023 Spelling Bee Champion, will be competing at The Hudson County Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Animal Awareness Day

On January 26th, students and staff wore an animal shirt in honor of Animal Awareness Day. Three students from Mr. Thorne's fourth grade class sponsored and collected donations for the Secaucus Animal Shelter. Thank you for everyone who donated to this great cause. We are sure going to have some happy dogs and cats! #SecaucusPride
