A Note from Dr. Reynolds
WBE Families,
We want to let you know about some events coming up. You can read about them in detail within the newsletter. We will have be emphasizing movement with our students as we lead up to the Jump Rope for Heart Event. Feb 1-14). Staff members are encouraged to get their students moving (we are encouraging them to wear appropriate fitness clothes and tennis shoes during this time). Students may want to wear tennis shoes also and clothing they can move in. We will also have a reading challenge which will end in a celebration on Literacy Day.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our Decades Dance and our Grandparents Lunch but we are still planning to have our Career Expo on May 6th.
Finally mark your calendars for the Fun Run set to run on March 10th. Weather permitting we will have it outdoors at KDDC. We will kick off this event on March 1st. We are working on purchasing additional technology and playground equipment.
As always we appreciate the support, WBE parents are the best!

Friday, March 4, 2022
Students dress as your favorite book character as we celebrate literacy! We will be entertained as our teachers transform as their favorite book characters and perform skits. Students will participate in a Book Character parade here at school! We are excited to have a real-life children's author joins us to read one of her very own special books. It will be a fantastic day!
