Writers Helping Writers
The Emory Writing Center staff includes talented and welcoming undergraduate and graduate students from a range of disciplines. They are eager to work with all writers at all stages of the composing process. Whether you are exploring ideas, revising a draft, or polishing a final version of a project, the Writing Center is the place for you. They offer discussion- and workshop-based tutorials for individuals and groups that enable writers to approach their work with fresh eyes and to consider a variety of strategies for writing, revising, and editing.
The Emory Writing Center is open from 12-8PM Sunday-Thursday and from 12-5PM on Fridays. We are located in N-212 Callaway Center.
Domain Support
During the 2013-2014 academic year, the Emory Writing Center will be supporting Emory's Domain of One's Own pilot program. There are over thirty teachers participating, which means that hundreds of students will be authoring websites, composing digital projects, and doing multimodal scholarship.
Writing Center tutors are prepared to help students with Domain projects of all types. We encourage you to drop in for Domain Lab hours on Wednesdays from 3-5 in Callaway N-204. There you can brainstorm, compose, and troubleshoot technical issues. Students can click here for the Emory Writing Program's resources for Domain projects.
