Invitation to Complete Lynnville-Sully Superintendent Stakeholder Survey

The Lynnville-Sully School Board has recently hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to support the search for a new district superintendent. The search will begin immediately and conclude with the hire of a new successful leader. Your feedback regarding what "desired qualifications" are most important for this position will ensure the new hire is a good fit for both the school district and community.
Please share narrative insights below and rank personal and professional priorities for the new superintendent. The search team will produce a general report based on the information gathered in this survey. The report will be shared with the board to advise them on what priorities the district and community stakeholders are looking for in a new leader.

Lynnville-Sully Spectator Guidance

Today, Governor Reynolds extended and announced a few new changes to the proclamation. The school district needs to read through the updated guidance before announcing new changes.
December 9, 2020 COVID-19 Information
At this time, our data indicates we will continue with face-to-face instruction.
On a daily basis, we monitor the county positivity rate, school district student/staff attendance numbers, and positive cases of COVID-19. If the student absentee rate exceeds 10% in the school district and positive cases of COVID-19 increase, we may switch to hybrid or remote learning (L-S instructional model considerations at bottom of the newsletter).

Livestreaming L-S Activities
Hawk fans are encouraged to visit the school’s website, www.lshawks.org where livestream updates will be posted. Click on the Activities Director tab on Lynnville-Sully’s home page, and then click on the HAWKS LIVE graphic to watch home events https://team1prep.com/ia/?S=lshawks When livestreaming is available at away games, specific information will also be posted on Lynnville-Sully’s website.
Free Meal Pick-Up Available for Absent L-S Students
All Lynnville-Sully enrolled students who are absent from school may pick-up a free meal between 11:30 am - 11:40 am at the front entrance of the elementary/middle school. Meals will be brought out to your vehicle. Meals must be ordered by 8:00 am the day of meal pick-up. If your child is absent due to sickness, COVID-19 quarantine, COVID-19 isolation, or any other reason, you may email or call Shelley Vander Molen before the 8:00 am the day of meal pick-up. Email Shelley: vandermolen@lshawks.com or call and leave a message: 641-594-4445 extension 133. The free meal pick-up will be offered through the end of the school year or until federal funding is no longer available.
