A Message from the Pastor
Greetings To All,
I would like to THANK everyone who participated in the Dinner Auction for SOTH School. It was an enjoyable night filled with great people! I was able to observe first hand the gaga ball pit on Tuesday at recess. I can assure you it was money well spent! Observing our students at recess and playing gaga ball, I was able to see how much that game is appreciated. Also, it helped relieve some energy!!
Don't forget it's Lent! What are you doing as a family to enhance the religious aspect of this season? Even if it is adding an extra prayer together -- let your children know your faith is important and lived out -- they will follow your example.
As a school I think each classroom is moving along well as we are working together to support each other in our learning process. Mrs. Joan Schlaefer is offering her many years of experience to our school and giving great ideas to help us live up to the standards we set. Please continue to support your child's educational process with words of support and encouragement. Your encouragement will help them strive for their best.
Please remember -- any concerns please bring to Fr. Mark and Mrs. Schlaefer -- if our conversations just remain negative or filled with gossip then the truth and growth will not be realized. Our community thrives on honest conversations and in supporting each other to become our best.
Students and staff may wear spirit wear and jeans on Fridays!
God's Blessings,
Fr. Mark

Supply Need - Paper Towels
We are running low on paper towels. If you are able to send a roll or two to get us through to the end of the year, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Box Tops for Education
Mrs. Hively's Box Top Testimonial
I frequently do an online grocery order for pick up at Walmart and then submit a digital receipt to Box Tops. Since January 31, I have earned $17.90 for the school (yes, Box Tops for Education sends Shepherd of the Hills a check twice a year) just because I purchased Nature Valley Granola bars for the CSW food drive, Pillsbury crescent rolls and cinnamon rolls, Betty Crocker brownie mix, Flair pens, and Lysol wipes. This was my most recent notification from BTFE:
"Upon checking your digital receipt, we would be happy to credit your account with $0.40 plus $0.60 for qualifying in Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls Bonus, $1.00 for qualifying in Valentine's Bonus and $4.00 for qualifying in Walmart Return to School Bonus so that you can continue to help Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School. You will see $6.00 posted to the "My Earnings" section of the app in the next 7 to 14 business days.'
I encourage you to download the Box Tops for Education app to support Shepherd of the Hills! Everyone who signs up with the referral code: BOC32XFZ earns 25 bonus box tops when they scan their first receipt. Download the Box Tops for Education app here:
