Many of the professional learning opportunities described in the newsletter can be used as artifacts for Domain 4. Consider some of the possibilities below. Clerical Professional Development Opportunities
Great PD opportunities are now available for all clerical staff. Space is still available for the Excel sessions.
March 13 – Microsoft Excel Tips and Tricks (AM session 8-11, PM session 12:30-3:30)
March 15- Microsoft Excel Tips and Tricks (AM session 8:30-11:30, PM session 1:00-4:00)
All sessions will be held in the Board Room at Central Office.

Once in the portal click on "Find Classes." Type in the name of the course and click the blue "search" button. Choose the date and time that works for you and click on the blue icon in the upper right corner of the course description.
Graduate and CPD Credit Opportunities
McDaniel College - Equity & Excellence in Education
The Equity and Excellence in Education Certificate Program (EEE), a partnership between CCPS and McDaniel College, is a unique graduate program for educators which supports the CCPS Core Beliefs and three focus areas in the system's Vision 2018 Action Plan.

Common Ground on the Hill
Walden University
The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership at Walden University is offering select graduate level courses at a reduced rate. Through their partnership with Carroll County Public Schools these online, 3 credit graduate courses range from $395 - $420/course. In these self-directed courses you progress at your own pace, with assignments due at 3 different intervals in the course.
Sessions begin March 6 and May 8.

Using Historical Inquiry to Teach the Civil Rights Movement
This month, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum and MSDE will present a professional development course on the Civil Rights Movement. Educators will explore the curriculum, An African American Journey. Participants will earn 1 CPD credit.
