  • Warm flushing of the skin
  • Change in mental and physical behavior
  • Dry mouth
  • Heavy feeling in the extremities

Long Term Effects

  • Addiction
  • Withdrawal Symptoms
  • Physical Dependence
  • Risk of infection and disease, such as HIV or Hepatitis-C

Medical Uses

"Medical Heroin" which is also called methadone, is used legally under supervision of a doctor to help break addiction to street Heroin.

Where to Get Help for Addiction

Many people find it very difficult to break their addiction to Heroin because they have become so physically dependent on Heroin. You can seek treatment with counseling, at the hospital, at a drug and alcohol rehab center, or at an approved methadone "medical" Heroin treatment center.
