SMCS ALUMNI NEWS

Current SMCS students are gearing up for an exciting Homecoming week, beginning this weekend with float building and culminating with the Homecoming Dance. We'd like to invite you, our SMCS alumni family, to join in the Homecoming festivities.

Join us Friday, October 7 for an All School Mass taking place on Zephyrs Field at 9:30 A.M. (rain location SMCHS gym). Everyone is invited to come in their Zephyr apparel as we celebrate the gift of St. Mary Catholic Schools. If you're a dad, consider sticking around after Mass for breakfast with the Zephyr Dads. They'll be gathering near the softball field.

At 5:00 P.M. you're invited to line the parade route and share your Zephyrs Spirit as we cheer on the Homecoming Parade. The parade begins at Schildt Park, travels down Cold Spring Road and finishes on Zephyrs Field for the pre-game festivities.

Alumni will receive FREE ADMISSION to the Homecoming game, as the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs take on Abundant Life Christian at 7:00 P.M. We'll have a special Alumni Entrance set up near the STEM Center, with a sweet treat for all who stop by.

We look forward to seeing you and celebrating why it's great to be a Zephyr!

Join us Saturday, October 15, 2022 starting at 5:00 P.M., for a casual evening of drinks, delicious food, and entertainment to support students at all five campuses of St. Mary Catholic Schools.

What can you expect at ALL ABOARD?

• Great Food and Drink: Parker Johns is serving up barbeque for dinner and Simple Simon is providing delicious desserts. Beer and wine are included with your registration.
• Live Entertainment: Two musical acts (Jedidiah and Pat Pedersen) will provide a musical backdrop for this enjoyable evening.
• Casual Atmosphere: We're planning to enjoy a beautiful fall evening in Wisconsin on the campus of St. Mary Catholic Middle School. Come dressed to be outside among friends.
• Raffles, Event Boards, and Silent Auction: whether you're hoping to win cash, surprise your family with a fun outing, or cross some people off your Christmas shopping list, our committees have been hard at work curating great opportunities for you to support St. Mary Catholic Schools. Speaking of Christmas gifts, Out of Dress Code passes make great stocking stuffers. You can order those when you register.

Tickets for All Aboard are $50 each. Registration closed on October 7, so make sure to sign up today.

And, the greatest of these is love. Alumni, for decades, have shown they are united to our current students by supporting the work and mission of SMCS. Your gifts go a long way in reinforcing that you love our students. This high school basketball season will include two special dates. On Thursday, November 17 we will unveil the top ten girls basketball scorers. On Tuesday, November 29, we will do the same for the boys scoring leaders. Mark your calendars and celebrate this special piece of Zephyrs history.

There will be an alumni social hour from 5:00-5:50pm on both dates. Unveiling will take place at halftime of each game. The leaderboard was purchased and made possible by friends of Steve Larson.
