A reminder that tomorrow is a teacher in-service day so there is no school. We are also closed Monday for President's Day. I hope everyone has a lovely Valentine's Day!

Mardi Gras Parade-February 25th at 8:30am

Mardi Gras is just around the corner! I invite all of you to celebrate with us on Fat Tuesday, February 25th, at 8:30am. If you have a wagon/stroller/cart/bicycle/etc., decorate it as a float and bring it to school. Children may wear costumes, crowns, masks, etc. We will parade around the gym and throw beads to our spectators. Afterward we will enjoy king cake in the classrooms. Remember the three colors of Mardi Gras: purple stands for justice, green for faith, and gold for power. Since we will only parade on Tuesday, our Mon/Wed/Fri friends are welcome to join us for the festivities!

Spanish and Art Show Set Up

Mrs. Bergner could use more volunteers to help with set up of the Spanish and Art Show on the evening of April 1st and during the day of April 2nd. If you are interested please email her, sarah.bergner@marquetteschool.org

Spanish and Art Show-April 2nd at 6:30pm

Save the date for our 2nd annual Spanish and Art Show, April 2nd at 6:30pm! This is a fun night for the whole family. Bring all the kids and join us for a Spanish presentation and then enjoy viewing selections of your child's artwork from the year displayed around the school (Mrs. Bergner has even done projects with children who do not attend school on Mondays, so ALL the children have artwork to display). There will also be opportunities to participate in your very own art masterpieces!

Summer Play Days Coming Soon!

You won't want to miss Summer Play Days this summer at ECDC! Amazing art, special visitors, water play, yummy snacks, and messy play are all sure to make your child's summer fun and engaging. Registration opens March 2nd. Look for it on social media.
