Letter from Dr. Hall - Visitor Policy

Dear Parents,

I am writing to you to remind you of our school’s policy regarding the student’s daily morning routine. Please be reminded that all students, with the exception of kindergarten and transitional kindergarten are to meet their teachers on the playground in the area designated by their teacher. Kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students are to meet their teachers in the kindergarten yard. Students and parents are not to enter the bungalow classrooms or the classrooms in the main building before school unless they have a previously arranged appointment. Our teachers need the time between when they arrive at school, and the first bell to prepare classrooms for the days’ instruction.

The first bell announcing the beginning of the school day rings at 8:12 a.m. After the bell rings, students are to line up in their teacher’s designated area, and wait for their teacher to take them to the classroom. Please say “good bye” to your children on the yard at that time. Do not follow the teachers to the classroom. Children are to be in their seats and ready to begin the instructional day by 8:17 a.m. If you need to speak to your child’s teacher, please e-mail him/her or come to the office to request a conference with the teacher.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Dr. Mary A. Hall

Interim Principal
