Raise Craze Going Strong!!
In addition, we are hearing awesome stories from students and parents about the kindness that is going around. If you have a story or pictures you would like to share, please email Jennifer Andjelic at andjelicj@ltisdschools.org. We would like to be able to share kindness stories with students, and showcase them on social media and in the next Beehive.
Thank you again for your support!! We love that our school is promoting kindness and helping others. #BCEInspires #BeeKind
Book Bingo!
This year’s reading challenge is Book Bingo!! Bingo cards went out the week of September 24th. We have already had lots of kids come in and get their coins for completing bingos! A few reminders:
Write the title, pages read, and parent initials in the corresponding box on the back.
ALL books count! Books read by parents, books read by siblings, books read in class or in the library, audiobooks, Bookflix books, Bookaboo books, famous people reading books on Youtube, they all count!! The objective is exposure to 36 different books!!
No Double-dipping!! Each book can only be used ONCE, so all the titles on the back of the sheet have to be a different book. Book series are very popular, so you can definitely have more than one book from a series it just has to be a different book within the series.
Coins for Bingos and shopping are only to be done on MONDAYS! Teachers get an email reminder each Monday morning to let the kiddos with Bingos come to the library at some point in the day.
A Blackout (all 36 boxes filled) gets the family an invite to Bingo Night at school with Bingo playing, prizes, and food! The more people that are able to come the more fun we all have! Students have till December 13th to finish up Bingo Cards.
Thanks so much for your support and please contact Andrea Heckler (hecklera@ltisdschools.org) if you have any questions!
Happy Reading!

PTO Business
Purchase Spotlight
The PTO budgeted money for each teacher to be able to have a 1/2 day of planning each 9 weeks. This money is used to provide subs, so teachers can have time to collaborate with their teams, plan for the upcoming 9 weeks, research and share ideas, and learn more about campus/district initiatives.
Research shows that job embedded professional development and planning is the most effective use of teacher time, and promotes ongoing success for teachers and students.
So thankful for our amazing teachers!!
