BYOT in Action!
A5 Honors Chorus Concert
Glenview hosted this event on March 7th and featured students from Glenview, Lakeside, Robert Anderson, and Southwood. Our own chorus teacher Anda Mobley accompanied on piano and strings teacher Celeste Griffith played fiddle.
Youth Art Month
The Anderson Art Center is showcasing student art work from across the county through March 29th. Congratulations to Glenview's own Blake Batten who took home 2nd place. The other A5 student who placed was from Lakeside and won an honorable mention. Special thanks to our art teachers Stephanie Raspet and Robert Cason.
All-Region Band
Congratulations to Olivia Hayes and Mackenzie Bibb who made all-region band this year on clarinet. Katelynn Huckabaa was a runner-up for flute. The other A5 student who participated was from Southwood. Special thanks to our band teacher Doug Wertz for his hard work in preparing our students.
Faculty BBall Game and "AIM" Food Drive
Glenview and McCants (East) are teaming up to compete against Robert Anderson and Lakeside (West) in two ways: Bring canned goods or monetary donations to school to support "Anderson Interfaith Ministries" the week of March 18th-22nd. Then, come out to see faculty members from these A5 middle schools compete in a basketball game at the Glenview gym on Friday, March 22nd at 5:30 p.m. Admission is 10 canned food items or $2. The winning school in the canned food drive for AIM will be announced at half-time.

Note that performance on this speed test and multiple choice test of basic Microsoft skills determines which students will move on to take the application component. The top technology students are then selected to take the high school Technology course in 7th and 8th grades to satisfy the Carnegie unit required for high school graduation.
