A PPT of the school plan was viewed by SSC with a focus on CAASPP data in ELA and Math. Overall, Quail Summit had a slight drop in both areas from last year. We had a large drop in 3rd grade in the area of ELA and in math as well. We are focusing on this group of students and providing support.
SSC was shown the new Quail Summit Dashboard for the district and Quail Summit. We did really well performing in blue (highest performance) and green in ELA. We had a decline of 27 in the hispanic subgroup.
This report will be coming out soon to the public.
School Plan - The staff gave input for the school plan. We have seven goals on the plan. The seven goals were viewed by SSC and discussed. The budget is included in the plan. We received $12,000 less this year. Community Club does an amazing job supporting the school budget. Nothing was added financially to the budget. "The Breakfast Club" was added to the plan for provide money for teachers to plan for the presentation.
Everything else stayed the same.
The SSC voted and approved the plan at 3:46 PM.
