One for the Road - something to ponder as you end your week
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
– Robert Louis Stevenson
Life isn’t always about immediate results. As educators, we build young minds so that one day they will bloom into the beautiful plants that we know they CAN become. Often, it is those students who need us the most that we tend to be frustrated with on a daily basis. YOU can plant that seed….be the one to truly make a difference for that child’s future. Take some time to think about those students who may have frustrated you this week, but truly need you in their lives.
Chris Jonassen
I am currently a principal intern at West Middle School in Montgomery County and a member of Cohort 3 in the Sandhills Leadership Academy. I aspire to be the best I can be and I'm focused on positively impacting public education! Before this year I taught predominantly 5th grade and most recently 3rd grade.
Family and education have always been important aspects of my life. Family values such as communication, collaboration, support and transparency have driven who I am personally and professionally. I always seek new challenges and opportunities and value education and continuous self-growth.
