UGA Social Work students, this is an opportunity for you to have your resume reviewed virtually by a member of the UGA Career Center staff!
You will need to have your resume uploaded as a PDF when you register for this event. When you enter the event, you may enter any of the available booths to virtually connect with a Career Center staff member to have your resume reviewed. Reviews will occur via text, and you will have 15 minutes to go over your resume. Try to have specific questions prepared to make the best use of time.
Graduate Student Workshop: Personal Branding

This workshop will discuss personal branding strategies to enhance your career success as a graduate student. Included within “personal branding” is the effective use of written correspondence (CVs, resumes, cover letters, and more) as well as professional etiquette, networking skills, interviewing tips, social media usage, and other communication channels such as academic or professional conferences. As a graduate student, you have a rich array of skills and experiences to draw upon – join us for this interactive session to learn how to leverage your unique strengths.

Arch Ready: Careers in Social Services and Counseling Panel

Topics covered will include training requirements for the field, common challenges and rewards of the work, and tips for aspiring social services and counseling professionals.
