PICKING UP MEDICATION FROM THE HEALTH ROOM

The school will not store any medications over the summer break. If your student has any medication/s in the health room, it will be sent home with them during the last few weeks of the school year. All medication needs to be picked before the end of the school day on May 26, 2022. Any medication that is not picked up by this time will be appropriately discarded. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse at 402-715-8266.

On behalf of National Student Council, it is our pleasure to recognize the Millard South High School Student Council as a 2022 National Gold Council of Excellence. Winning the National Gold Council of Excellence Award is testament to the highest standards of quality that your council consistently demonstrates in its operation, and its projects and activities. NatStuCo Gold Councils of Excellence are the models of quality for which other student councils should strive to become.

Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band

Congratulations to the Millard South Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band 1 for receiving a 1 Star rating Last Friday at District Music Contest. That means that all 3 of the Judges awarded us a Superior Rating. Only 6 of these scores were given out the entire day and Millard South had 2 of them. Go Patriots!!!

Millard South Band - Mattress Fundraiser

Looking to upgrade your mattress?


The Millard South Band Program will be having a Mattress fundraiser on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 from 10:00am-4:00pm in the Main Lobby. Prices are VERY Competitive and it will be delivered to your home. So mark your calendar and support the Band Program at Millard South!!!

Open every Friday or the day before a break from 3:20-4:00. Food and hygiene items available to any and all Millard South students and their families- no questions asked.

Please note, you must reside within the Millard South boundaries and re-qualify each year with Food Services as current year benefits will expire September 1st.

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

24/7 trained crisis counselors who can assist students, parents and community members with school safety related concerns. Information can be submitted anonymously. The information can be related to harmful, dangerous or violent activity(or even a threat of activity) that is directed at schools, students or staff members.

The Helpline is supervised by licensed mental health professionals and is a service of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services provided by Boys Town.


Methodist Hospital Emotional Support Hotline 402-815-8255 (TALK)

Available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.


This service is a way for people to reach out and connect with someone who can help find solutions for managing stress, anxiety and other challenges. The support line is staffed by licensed professional counselors from the Methodist Hospital Community Counseling Program. The counselors can assist callers who may be experiencing feelings such as: fear, anxiety, sadness, depression.


Behavioral Telehealth Consultation Clinic

UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) is offering up to TWO FREE behavioral consultation sessions in English or Spanish. This service is available to families regardless of insurance coverage. To schedule an appointment call 402-559-6408 and state you are interested in scheduling with the free telehealth consultation clinic.
