Welcome Back Bluejays
2021-2022
Dear BlueJay Parents/Guardians-
First of all, I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I am very excited to be taking on the role of Superintendent of Schools for the Marshfield R-I School District. During my four years in the district, I have been so proud to be part of the Marshfield R-I school team and part of this community. It is my belief that we have the best school and staff in the state.
Throughout the summer, we have had lots going on in the district and have been extremely busy as we prepare for the upcoming school year. We just wrapped up a very successful summer school program, we are working on many summer projects, we are cleaning/revitalizing each building, and making sure we are ready to see students in August.
Obviously, school has looked very different over the past year and a half. While I don’t have all of the answers for what it will look like for the upcoming year, I am certain that our district will continue to do all that we can to serve our students and have a successful school year.
The district will continue to use this newsletter to share important information throughout the school year. Please take some time to review this document whenever it is sent out. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We are privileged to have the opportunity to educate your children and we are looking forward to a great school year.
Sincerely,
Mike Henry
Superintendent of Schools

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES
It is with grateful hearts that we announce that the Webster County Baptist Association in conjunction with local churches, will again be providing school supplies for Marshfield students Kindergarten thru 8th grade. High school teachers will communicate any supplies needed for specific classes to their students.
We are pleased to provide breakfast and lunch to ALL students free of charge via federal funding. Although, it is critical for families to submit the free and reduced lunch form during online registration to assist with funding of other programs including preschool. Keep in mind, students that qualify for free and reduced lunches receive Jay Care at a reduced price as well as pay a reduced activity fee. This extension is through the 21-22 school year.
It is important to note that any ala carte items, including individual milks ($0.40 each), will be charged to your child's account.
