ARNAUDVILLE ELEMENTARY
7th graders from Arnaudville Elementary attended BLAST 2018

CANKTON ELEMENTARY
Kindergarten students at Cankton Elementary did a walking water science activity after learning about scientists and science safety rules.
Mrs. Christine Leblanc's pre-k students took home Jack-o-lanterns this week to disguise. This was a take-home family craft, and the students loved being creative. We had many great disguises from PJ Mask characters to mermaids.
Ms. Comeaux’s fourth graders played a review game using Kahoot! on their Chromebooks. Students teamed up to earn the most points on their science review competition.
Taiko Project, a group of world-renowned taiko drummers, visited Cankton Elementary on October 5. Students were memorized by the rhythmic drumming and dancing and learned about Japanese culture.
EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
East Elementary students were honored to be instructed in raising, lowering, and folding the American flag by local veterans.
GLENDALE ELEMENTARY

GRAND COTEAU ELEMENTARY
At Grand Coteau Elementary, the 2nd graders are learning about workers in our community for Reading and Social Studies. Assistant Police Chief of Grand Coteau, Mike Buck, came to speak to Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Gauthier's classes about his job/duties. He answered many questions about what it means to be a police officer, serving the community, and other informative questions about the profession.
GRAND PRAIRIE ELEMENTARY
Shamar R. is holding the jar of candy he won by estimating the amount it contained. The 4-H Club held an estimating contest in honor of National 4-H week.
HIGHLAND ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Lavergne's Pre-K Class at Highland got to eat an Octopus (a hot dog cut to look like an octopus) today because they are learning about the letter Oo (Ozzie Octopus Oo)
