We Have a Winner!

Congratulations to Mrs. Hintz on winning a grant for a new social skills curriculum!

Keeping Up the Pace

What a fantastic first week of school. The students did a wonderful job coming back to school with enthusiasm and being prepared to learn. I am so very proud to have each and every one of you on staff and see the hard work and dedicated people here at Lester Prairie Schools. The marathon is in full effect and we are entering that ever important second week, keep the pace, remember the goal, and never forget that we are all moving toward the same goal.

Let's Have A Great Year!

Meeting the Needs of Our Students

As you are teaching, remember to continue to challenge students to reach their full potential. As educators it is our responsibility to continually meet the needs of each individual student. As we challenge we need to also provide the students with a love of learning. This must show through our actions, words, and demeanor. We are role models for students and we must always remember they are watching us.

In addition to meeting the needs of each student, we must also meet them where the learning is. "A teacher who is uncomfortable with technology, must be prepared for student who is uncomfortable with books"--six-year-old. Remember to utilize the technology we have available. Dealing with issues is related to real life situations and how we handle and show perseverance to these issues is a great opportunity to show our perseverance as teachers. Continue to learn and love learning and our students will follow!
