Weekly Update February 24, 2023

Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application
Apply Any Time of the Year
Did you know that you can apply for free/reduced-price meals at any time during the year...not just at the beginning of the school year?
If you believe your family may qualify for free/reduced-price meals, please apply online with these easy steps:
- Sign in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Choose "MORE" in the left-hand column.
- Choose "MEAL BENEFITS".
If approved, the completed application will cover the student for the entire 2022-23 school year, and no other steps will be necessary unless there is an income change during the school year.
Or, you may print and complete this paper Free/Reduced-Priced Meal Application (PDF) or pick one up at your student's school if you prefer.
Please feel free to contact Food Service Supervisor Megan Schweller if you have any questions.

Middle School South
Mrs. Sendel and Franklin's seventh-grade classes at Middle School South finished their science unit on circuits by hosting a "Circuit Showcase". Students decorated and wired shoeboxes into very detailed themed rooms and buildings. Other students, staff and family members attended the showcase to view the final projects. The teachers did an amazing job showcasing the hard work completed by their students!

The Tenth Annual Bioscience Senior Capstone Project Competition was recently held and winners were announced in the poster competition (top left) and individual scholarship winners (top right). The Bioscience class is an Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools program housed at Clark Hall and taught by Mrs. Kelly Lewis.
A capstone project is an independent experiment seniors carry out during class time at school, or while visiting a mentor at their facilities.
