BMHS Weekly Update

Department Highlights: World Languages
The World Language Department has been busy during the first semester! Teachers have been surprising students each quarter with a yard sign recognition that "The World is my Classroom!" Students who receive these signs have demonstrated in class, a love of the language and have gone above and beyond in their learning of a World Language. Follow us on Twitter @BmhsWorld to see more cool pictures of what is going on in our classrooms!
Our Spring Break Trips are just around the corner!! Sra. Pinter is heading to Peru; Mr. Soos and Frau Lyon are heading to tour the European Capitals; and Madame Morley is leading a trip to France with Mr. McGregor, Sra. Martin, Mrs. Yanus, Dr. Ruebensaal, Mrs. Malone, and Ms. Medina. What amazing experiences our BMHS students will have because the World really is our classroom!
In November, Edgar René gave a concert for the Spanish students. We had a great time rocking to some good music! The Chinese classes are getting ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year with some fun activities! The Cleveland International Film Festival is coming up in March/April upon our return from Spring Break. All the languages, Spanish, French, German, and Chinese, will be able to attend FilmSlam at CIFF to enjoy some film shorts in the language they are studying. It's a great time to study a language!
