SAT Day
And The National Award Goes To...
Our Principal, Mrs. Winters, said, "Kevin’s dedication to his studies and our school is tremendous. We are so proud of his hard work and excited about the doors this recognition will open for him. He is most deserving of this honor.”
Kevin graduates in May, but he won’t soon forget the experience at New Tech. “I will most definitely hold my teachers in my memory for a long time to come. I’ve been constantly surprised at the expertise and love of learning my teachers have expressed over my past three years at New Tech.”
Congratulations Kevin, and thank you for representing BISD and New Tech in such a fabulous way.

Newcomer To New Tech
Please help us welcome Mr. Newcomer to the Dragon Family!
"Hi! My name is Caleb Newcomer and I will be joining BNT High School in the Social Studies Department starting in March. I am relocating from Northern Indiana with my beautiful wife Kassandra and our baby girl Evelynn. I will be completing my 2nd year of teaching social studies at the end of this school year. I have coached football and wrestling for 4 years and served as a career connections coordinator in my previous school. I enjoy running, hunting, biking, reading, watching movies, serving in church, and of course eating BBQ. My wife Kassandra is also a middle school science and PTLW teacher and will be looking for a job in the near future with Belton ISD. Moving to Texas has been a dream of mine for several years with such a rich history and a love for the culture, food, and the adventure my family will be able to have. Although leaving the cold cornfields of Indiana will be a challenge, I am eager to join the BNT family in the warm weather! I am looking forward to serving in the school as a teacher and mentor as well as hopes to serve in other capacities in the Belton community. Excited to be working with the students and families soon."
Upcoming Art Competition
The following 9 students are competing with 11 pieces:
Ris Catlett, Dominic Thomas, Bonnie Floyd, Mylie Hammonds, Macey Boettcher, Luka Halford, Katelyn Williams, Malia Rodriguez, and Isis Swafford.
GOOD LUCK!
