January Highlights!

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Participants and Winner, Harper Hosp!

On Monday, January 9, 2023, Green Tree Elementary School held the annual Spelling Bee. Green Tree's PTO supported the spelling bee by funding the entrance fee for Scripps National Spelling Bee. The champion of the GTE local bee will move on to the regional competition held on March 12, 2023 at Saint Louis University.


Students in 4th and 5th grade participated in classroom spelling bees in December to decide a representative and alternate for each class. We are proud of all of our students who participated in our spelling bee with enthusiasm and good sportsmanship.

Mrs. Oeshner's 5th grade class partnered with Mrs. Adelsberger's room for an opportunity to play, learn, and help our younger students work on communication skills! These 5th grade students showed incredible amounts of respect, leadership, and kindness towards our little gators!

Virtual Academy Enrollment Now Open

Enrollment for Virtual Academy for the 2023-2024 academic year is open. Complete the form in SIS K-12 to register no later than Feb. 24, 2023.

Kindergarten Registration - Green Tree

The Green Tree Kindergarten Registration Event is Monday, March 13, 2023! To schedule an appointment to have your child screened, please sign up HERE. If your child has already been screened, there is no appointment necessary; please attend the registration event to register your child for kindergarten! All children who will turn five before August 1, 2023, are eligible to attend kindergarten.
