Withdrawl
By Kailey and Amanda TB-5
What is it?
Withdrawl is when a guy removes his penis from the vagina before he ejaculates (also called coitus interrupts or pulling out)
How does it work?
Withdrawl is an attempt to keep sperm from entering the vagina by having the guy ejaculate outside the vagina.
How well does it work?
73% of the time, but even if you think you are doing it correctly it is not an effective way to prevent pregnancy.
What does it protect against?
Sometimes pregnancy if done correctly, but if done wrong then pregnancy is not always protected by using the withdrawl method.
Who uses it?
Males use this, but they have to time it exactly to avoid having the penis ejaculate inside the vagina. Its a decision between the two partners.
How do you get it?
Withdrawl is a choice to pull out, it needs free will to pull out at the peak of excitement.
How much does it cost?
Nothing, its a free choice to pull the penis out before ejaculation happens. You need to want to, because it requires self control.
Would you recommend this form of contraception?
Withdrawl is not a reliable source of contraception, and there are many risks to using it. Also it is not always effective and can be very risky because you may not be doing it correctly and there are bad side effects.
