This Week in LVUSD
Week of May 27, 2019
LVUSD Libraries Continue to Inspire!
Over the past few years, District Librarian Tina Johnson, Leslie Timbers, and the site media specialist teams have worked to revolutionize our school libraries. Books have been sorted into genres so that students can easily find titles that they love. Maker spaces have been constructed that allow students to create and innovate. Finally, the spaces have come to life with color, design, and popular characters popping up everywhere. Thank you to Tina and her team for demonstrating why LVUSD is a destination district for literacy!
Below are a few recent images that illustrate the art and design of our library spaces.
Congratulations to Calabasas High School Robotics Team
Our Calabasas High School Robotics team placed 2nd in Southern California Municipal Water District Solar Cup earlier this month. Students constructed their solar powered boat and raced it to 2nd place in the Sprint Event. Congratulations to Coach Yeung and all involved for showcasing LVUSD students' innovation and creativity.
