Virtual Counseling Services

Receive counseling services without having to leave school.

The Village Family Service Center

Through an agreement between Maple Valley School and The Village, students grades 7-12 are able to receive counseling services and support through a tele-health system without having to leave school. Fully licensed, experienced therapists are able to provide counseling services to our students on site in a private room using their computer.

How does this work?

The referral process is very simple. Students and/or parents may contact (phone or email) Mrs. Kaspari to initiate the referral paperwork. Once the initial referral is made, a packet is sent to parents to complete for consent. All information is kept confidential.

What does it cost?

The Village works directly with you and your insurance company to make sure your costs are as manageable as possible.

FAQ's

Q. What time of day will the sessions be?

A. It depends. The therapist will work with the student to find a time that works well for both.

Q. Are there a required number of sessions?

A. No - we are able to handle these on a case-by-case situation. Some students might just need a couple of sessions. Others might need more. We are not limited at this time by the number of sessions for each student.

Q. Where will students have their appointments?

A. It depends on the time, but most appointments will be able to take place in the counselor's room.

Q. How do I start?

A. Contact Mrs. Kaspari (info below) to begin the referral process.
