A Message From the Principal

DHES Families,

Happy spring!! It has been good to see so many families and teachers working together and preparing for a great end to the school year. Third trimester is here and it is time to dig in, work hard and finish the year strong!

With the winter snow days, the calendar has been adjusted. The last day of school will now be June 22nd. School will dismiss at 11:30 am. With those changes noted, we have also added two additional dates of interest. Our 4’s Preschool Graduation will be June 15th at 6:30 pm. We will also have an end of year assembly for our 5th grade students on the last day of school. June 22nd from 9:00-10:15 am. Mark your calendars.

North Tapps Middle School will also be hosting a 5th grade parent night on the evening of April 25th. This will give parents a chance to learn more about 6th grade, North Tapps and the registration process for fall. Students will be meeting with North Tapps staff during the school day as well.

Remember spring break is April 10th through the 14th. I hope you enjoy special times with your family and friends.

The dance will be held Friday, April 28th from 6-8:30pm at North Tapps Middle School. Presale tickets are available online for $20 per family or we will have tickets available at the door for $25

*All presale tickets will include a rose for each student that attends*

Moms and Sons, Gather your team and save the date.

Come join us as we try to Escape the School. This event will be held Friday, May 12th at Lake Tapps Elementary School. We will have more details coming soon so stay tuned.
