TEST OF THE EMERGENCY MESSAGE SYSTEM
Test of the Emergency Message System
The district will be sending out an emergency test message in early October (before Fall Break) to make sure the parent notification system for emergency messages is working properly and that everyone's contact information is up-to-date. If any of your contact information has changed (address, phone, email), please update it using the Parent Portal or contact your child's school.
BCMS Fall Conferences
Our fall conferences sign-up website is now accepting appointments. Fall conferences will take place the evenings of November 16th and 20th from 4-8 pm. Please click on the link below to get started.
Once on the site, please find the purple grade level tabs above the bison logo and click on the grade level of your student. There you will find your child's team and teachers listed in three different groups. Follow the on-screen directions from there and scroll down to the appointment slots. Click on the appointment time that works for you, submit and sign up and you should be ready to go! Please let Tonia Poncius know if you have any questions on signing up at 763-682-8249 or email@example.com.
Counseling Corner: Supporting students on their Middle School journey.
How can a School Counselor help my child?
The BCMS Counseling Team would like to inform parents of the services and resources they offer to students and their families. Counselors help students through personal counseling, group counseling, academic planning, goal setting and assistance accessing community and mental health resources. Counselors practice a solution focused and problem solving approach.
If you have a concern about how your child is performing in school, how they are functioning personally or socially, or you’re just wondering if your pre-teen/ teenage child’s behavior is developmentally appropriate, please contact your child’s grade level Counselor.
The Student Services google page explains all of the different ways that we assist and advocate for students and links to community resources. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel there is something we can do to help your child.
