Nature Trail Clean-up November 17 9-11AM
There will be plenty to do for grown-ups and kids alike! Please bring any tools that may help us accomplish these goals. Rakes will be the most useful tools. Gardening gloves will be a good idea for everyone as well as weather appropriate clothing and shoes or boots that can get wet or muddy. There will be a brief instructional chat at the start of the morning which will also include tips for being safe on the trail.

THIS WEEK - Oasis Family Fun Night: Since last year's Oasis Family Fun Night was such a big success for kids, parents, and the HSA, let's do it again on Wednesday, November 7th from 5:00-8:00pm!! Come out and enjoy playing at the Oasis Family Fun Center (35 Lacrue Ave, Glen Mills) while helping to support Bethel Springs! We will receive 50% of ticket sales as well as a portion of food sales. This is an optional drop off event so if you want to leave your kids and go run some errands, simply come inside and sign them in! There are two ticket options for the event:
Option #1 - Combo Package ($10): Entrance to the soft playground and ballocity play area
Option #2 - VIP Package ($25): Entrance to all play areas, laser tag, rock climbing, basketball as well as a $5 game card!
If you don’t want to get the all-inclusive VIP package but want to add on an attraction and/or game card not covered in the admission option you’ve selected, Oasis has add-on options for an additional charge(s). Ask when you arrive and pay for your child. *Don’t forget to wear socks*
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Oasis Family Fun Night: We are looking for volunteers to help out at Oasis Family Fun Night on Wednesday, November 7th. Please consider signing up to help using this link, especially if you were already planning on staying during the event.
CONTRIBUTIONS NEEDED - Scholastic Book Fair: We are looking for 2 Liter bottles and toilet paper/paper towel rolls for the book fair. Please contact Kasha Maxfield to contribute.
SAVE THE DATE - Scholastic Book Fair: Mark your calendars because Book Fair week is NEXT WEEK already!!! The Book Fair will run from November 13th-16th, and our annual Family Night will be Wednesday, November 14th from 5:00-8:00pm, so come discover the ENCHANTED FOREST. In addition to browsing the Book Fair with your children, the kids can dress up as their favorite enchanted creatures, go gnome bowling, and find out their unicorn names among other activities in the gym. There will also be a Reading Nook where teachers will read popular titles from 6-8pm and a raffle for books and prizes from the fair.
To kick off the Book Fair excitement, our All for Books Change Collection starts on Monday, November 5th! Students can "make a wish" for their favorite male teacher by contributing any extra change from around the house to the All for Books Collection; each male teacher/staff member (Mr. Behl, Mr. Custer, Mr. Guidetti, Mr. Kavitski, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Quindlen, and Mr. Vonderstuck) will have a separate wishing well located in the front lobby. The teacher collecting the most donations will “volunteer” to dress up as a fairy prince for one whole day of the Book Fair!! Who will be crowned the WINNER?!?
Don’t forget to pick up your Yankee Candle & Otis Spunkmeyer Orders from the LOBBY during the Book Fair Family Fun Night on 11/14 from 3-7pm! Questions? Contact Dawn Wyzen.
