Important FAFSA Information
The 2021-2022 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is available online at www.fafsa.gov . Completing the FAFSA is the most important step in the financial aid process and determines eligibility for both state of Indiana and federal aid. The FAFSA requires your 2019 tax return and April 15, 2021 is the deadline to file the FAFSA in order to be fully considered for all state and federal financial aid.
It is very important to note, however, that many colleges/universities have their own FAFSA filing deadline dates. In fact, some schools have FAFSA deadlines that are much earlier than April 15th. Please check the financial aid websites of the schools you are considering to ensure their FAFSA deadline is met. Please also be sure to check the financial aid websites for any additional forms that may be required by that college or university, such as the CSS Profile form.
Unlike past years, BHS will NOT be offering FAFSA Night. CoVid 19 restrictions prohibit us from holding such an event. If you have questions or need support.
INvestED’s website,https://www.investedindiana.org/, has other resources available to you regarding financial aid, scholarships, and college costs.
This is a requirement for 21st Century Scholars
