For example, during one of our meetings we discussed the need to create a safer dismissal routine for our bus riders. We created a school program for all of our bus riders that included designated color coded areas, check lists, and a review of student bus etiquette. Students were also given color coded bands for their backpacks to help staff navigate students safely.
