The Layers Of the Sun
Core

Radiative Zone
It is located between the core and the convention zone. The nuclear fission that get made it the core gets converted into electromagnetic radiation in this zone. The size of the zone depends on how small and the cool temperature of the star is.

Convective Zone
Where the energy is transferred through convection as the plasma heats and cools off. The temperature at the base of the convection zone is 2,000,000° C.
