Nesting Visitors

AIS has some 'special guests' on our campus! A few Yellow Crowned Night Herons built their nest in a tree atop our playground over the quiet Spring Break period. They are incubating the eggs and they should stay for at least a month with their chicks! Our students have enjoyed observing life science in action.

AIS Virtual Tour Photos

Today Lisa Franzino from Circlescapes visited our campus to take photographs and work on an AIS virtual tour of our campus. Thank you to the faculty, staff, and students for their assistance and smiles today. We will share the final product with you once complete.

Puzzle and Legos for Maternelle!

If you have any wooden puzzles (with all the pieces!) or Legos that could be donated to the school, please feel free to drop them off under the portico anytime next week during drop-off or pick-up! We will sanitize and disinfect them and incorporate them into our PS, MS, and GS classrooms.

Re-enrollment for 2021 - 2022

Thanks to all of you who expedited your re-enrollment for the next school year! This greatly aids in our planning. If you have not yet completed your packet, please refer to the instructions in the last couple of newsletters, and thank you for wrapping that up. If you have any questions or considerations to discuss, please don't hesitate to reach out as we are happy to chat with you.

20th Anniversary Student Bricks

AIS is such a special community and has been made possible thanks to the support of all those students, families, and staff who have been a part of its foundation, growth, and history. As we commemorate our 20th anniversary, we want to say thank you to everyone who has been a part of this remarkable school.

At our gala, you heard from AIS parent and board member, Mike Carper, about the first phase of our 20th Anniversary initiatives, including a way to honor your AIS student(s) and alumni. Help us pay homage by purchasing a brick with your student's name to become part of the new brick pavement to be installed on the pathway leading up to the school.

Each brick (per student) is $150 and will help fund the 20th Anniversary Master Plan campus beautification at our school. The first bricks will be installed in the summer of 2021!
  • If you purchased a brick at the gala, you received a follow-up email with this link to customize it! Thank you for entering your details via the google form.
  • If you haven't yet purchased one, click on our Anniversary giving page which includes more details and customization information. Tip: Scroll down to read the information and then proceed to the Donate button, enter $150 per brick, and then you can customize your engraving.
