Superintendent's Message

Dear Mountain Empire Families,

I hope that this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. In our recent conversations with many of you, we realize that there are still many uncertainties and unanswered questions about returning to school in August. While it is our desire to provide you with information and a sense of security in knowing what our plan for the fall is, we also do not want to rush into any final decisions. We are taking this time to gather and weigh community input in order to develop a safe and thoughtful return plan that also takes state and county health guidelines into consideration. More information about school re-opening will be forthcoming.

This year we will re-enroll all current students for the 2020-21 school year. For those families who want to continue with homeschool (TK-6) or Independent Study program (7-12) for the 2020-21 school year, please contact your site principal to request that change. If you plan to disenroll your child for the 2020-21 school year please let us know.

Please contact your site principal if you have any questions.
