1. Gale in Context: Elementary
2. Gale in Context: Middle School
3. Gale in Context: High School
These databases are not specific to Canada but all of these databases are a great place to start your search!

Putting The Information in your own words
Carefully read the selected text on its own - do not try to reword it until you have read it at least once. Make sure you fully understand the text and ask for help if you do not.
Identify the main idea(s) in the text - what is the purpose or message?
Take some of the key words and replace them with synonyms - different words that mean the same thing.
Change the structure of the selected text by using synonyms and combining sentences that are similar. Leave out information that is not relevant.
Include a proper reference in MLA 9 format.
