MPHS Cougar Connection

A Message to the MPHS Community
I hope you and your family are doing well. Students should be working through the modules on Apex and/or Canvas in order to meet the requirement of completing the majority of content that remains for the school year. I have included Apex and Canvas instructions below. Students will need to complete two of three modules in Apex and/or Canvas. If students complete three out of three modules, they will raise their grade as of March 13 by ten points. The MPCS Grading Plan is attached below.
Teachers have been emailing students regarding which platform will be used for their courses. Teachers will continue to host office hours each day to support students. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.
I have included JumpStart information below. Juniors and seniors can apply to take tuition-free courses through Northern Virginia Community College starting this summer. The first 3500 qualified students will be accepted. Here is the link to the application: https://www.nvcc.edu/jumpstart/
We deeply miss our students and staff. Please take care and I look forward to the day our Cougar family can be together once again!
All the best,
Pam Kalso
