8th Promo: ALL STAFF-please see the flyer for promo details, as shared at PD. 8th STAFF-please add the flyer to your Advisory email.
8th Grade Keepsake: 8th STAFF - please add this to your Advisory email to parents. Do not add to Google Classroom. Hello Pirate Families! The 8th grade team is beyond excited to celebrate your child's success this year and is working on creating an 8th grade keepsake to surprise students with during the week of Promotion. An example is attached and they will be added to an 8th grade slideshow! We need your help in making this awesome memorable keepsake happen! Please email the following to your child's Advisor: (1) a photo of your students and (2) 3 adjectives/words to describe them.
Enrichment: This week's enrichment is here. Please post on Google Classroom and share within your Advisory time. Students will be exploring day trips from their city of choice. Where will you spend the day outside of your city?!
FlipGrid: Treasured Pirates "Dress to Impress": Add this Grid and link to your Google Classroom and all things announcements. Adding a discussion around examples would be AWESOME sauce as well!
FlipGrid: 8th College Fair: 8th college fair projects are due Tue May 12 to Advisors, as well as an elevator pitch to the Grid! Check out the pitches here! 6th/7th grades have fun with your activities and "visit" to virtual College Fair May 13 & 14.

Retakes Due: Past assignments (retakes from Q1-3) are due Fri May 15.

Remaining Assignments: Mon May 18th teachers will give out their last assignments though the rest of the school year. This means you will share 2 weeks of assignments with kiddos. You do not need to host tutoring, office hours or live meetings the last week of school.
iReady Training: Wed May 20 staff will participate in iReady training. All staff needs to sign up for one of the first two trainings. The third meeting for Q&A is optional and open to everyone.
RCs Due: RCs are due Wed May 20. (1) Grades should only include retake scores from Q1-Q3, (2) if you're an exception for something turned in right before break - please note that in comments so parents know where it came from, (3) otherwise there are no comments to be added.
Teacher Work Day: Fri May 22, Tue May 26, Wed May 27 are teacher work days. More deets to come!
