Conference Week is Here
As we enter parent-teacher conference week, I want to share a few reminders:
- School dismissal is 12:15pm for all TK-5th Grade students every day this week. The traffic will be heavier than usual, so please plan accordingly and drive safely.
- Please arrive to your conference a few minutes early. To complete conferences for all of our students in 1 week, we need to schedule them back-to-back. One delayed arrival can affect several subsequent conferences, so please plan ahead and arrive early.
- To make the most of your conference time, we encourage you to come prepared with any questions or concerns you may have.
- During your conference, be open to feedback from teachers, and remember that we share a common goal – ensuring your child's success.
- After your conference, reflect on your child's progress, both academically and socially, and consider setting specific goals for the upcoming months.
Warmly,
Mr. Lynch

2023-2024 Student Council
All Grades Costume Parade
Our Annual All Grades Costume Parade will begin at 8:20am on Tuesday, October 31st. Parents are invited to stay after drop-off and watch the parade.
As a reminder, student costumes must be school appropriate. Full face masks, blood or gore, and any type of weapon are not permitted.
Any students who do not wish to participate in the parade will be provided an alternate activity.
We look forward to seeing you at our All Grades Costume Parade.
Birthdays at Wildwood
At Wildwood Elementary, we enjoy honoring students on their birthdays. Teachers take great pride in helping your child feel treasured on their special day. If you do feel the need to send something for your child, please do not send any food items or pass them out to students before or after school. Instead, consider sending small non-edible treats (stickers, pencils, etc.) or a small class gift such as a board game, book, or puzzle with your child's name and birthday on it.
By collectively following these guidelines, our birthday students will be celebrated and the wellness of all members of our Tiger family will be elevated.
STEAM Update
Hello Wildwood Families-
This week we learned about bats. Our 3-5th graders did some Art in preparation for when they return and work on wiring 3V LED lights to make bat eyes! Our TK class also did some Art and colored in some bats we will be using during our next class to make “flying” bats. We did an echolocation activity which was lots of fun too!
I am so grateful for all the donations-they help tremendously!
Please drop any donations in the STEAM bin in the front office.
This week’s wish list includes:
- Reinforcement Labels
- Electrical Tape
- Pre-wired 3V LED Diodes
- CR2032 3V Lithium Batteries
- 2 inch reach 1/4 Hole Punch
- Pipe cleaners (colorful and all widths - super fluffy too!)
Thank you!
Mrs. Casey
