YOUR HELP REQUESTED: Seconds at lunch

Many of our fourth-graders like to buy "seconds" at lunch -- after they have purchased their meal, they return to the line to buy an additional entree, chips or dessert. Because there are so many fourth-graders who do this, the seconds line is long. Students end up spending valuable time in line -- instead of actually eating.

We are encouraging students to buy everything they want/need the first time through the line so that they'll have more time to eat. Please visit with your child about spending lunchtime wisely. Thank you for your support at home!

SNACK TIME

Fourth-graders may eat a healthy snack at 11 a.m. in the classroom. Please be aware that we work through snack time, so food needs to be easy to eat. Please do not send glass containers. Thank you!
