From the Desk of Mrs. Adelman
Thank you for partnering and trusting us with your children everyday. The tragedy that occurred in Uvalde, Texas this week is difficult for all of us to comprehend. As parents, teachers, staff, and a school community, our hearts are broken. Our hearts are with the families impacted by this devastating event.
As always, our top priority is safety for all. We continue to practice and implement our safety protocols and improve with the assistance of our Warwick Police Department, local officials, and our district security team. Thank you to the Warwick Police Department for their continued support in our community. Please know that Chief Goldberg has shared with administrators that Warwick officers will be visible in and around our schools and this is meant to be a reassurance to our community.
I often tell students (or ask) what my number one job is as the Warwick principal, they always respond with the following answer, to keep us safe and help us. We are here to to keep students safe, provide assistance, to help our community, and support our building.
I am Warwick Proud, and I am thankful to work within an incredible community!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions. Thank you, as always, for your constant support.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Amy Adelman

Laptops/iPads
Students in grades 3-5 will keep their District-issued laptops at home over the summer. While students are allowed to use their devices at home over the summer, it is important that those devices are stored at home in a safe place where they are protected from damage, as the devices will return to school with students when school starts at the end of August.
Thank you for your support!
6th Grade Promotion
Good afternoon, Sixth Grade Parents,
We are finalizing the finishing touches for 6th grade promotion and are very happy to share that every student will be receiving two additional tickets for promotion (each student will receive 4 tickets). We are looking forward to seeing you as we promote the 6th grade students on Monday, June 6th at 6PM in the Warwick Gym. Immediately following the promotion ceremony, please join us on the playground for the Kona Ice Truck.

During the classroom activity, parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet with Mrs. Adelman, Mrs. Sleicher (our school counselor), our reading specialists, nurse, speech pathologist, and other Warwick staff members to learn a little bit about kindergarten.

Universal Free Lunch Waiver Expiration
School breakfast and lunch has been available for Central Bucks School District students at no cost since March 2020. Reimbursement for the cost of providing these meals has come through a United States Department of Agriculture Waiver issued to the Pennsylvania Department of Education. This waiver suspended free and reduced lunch eligibility requirements, allowing for universal participation in the National School Lunch Program. The waiver is expected to expire at the end of June.
In anticipation of this, we wish to remind families of the following:
- Eligible families are strongly encouraged to apply for free and reduced lunches. Families may apply through an online application that is safe, secure, and private. Visit cbsd.org/freeandreduced for details. All children in households eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) benefits are eligible for free meals. If you have questions about your family’s eligibility, please send email to Renee Ziccardi at rziccardi@cbsd.org or contact your school nurse.
- When the waiver expires, students may again purchase lunch, a la carte items, or snacks through their MySchoolBucks account. Now is a good time to log on, bring your child’s account up to date if money is owed, and update expired payment information. Review frequently asked questions about school lunch accounts on our website. Your child will not be able to utilize their account to purchase a la carte items or snacks if it is past due. If you have questions about your child’s account, or if you believe the balance information is inaccurate, please contact Renee Ziccardi at rziccardi@cbsd.org.
Warwick Summer Construction - Road/Playground Closure
This summer at Warwick construction work will be completed to repair the side driveway pavement and blacktop. Beginning June 16th all traffic/parking will have to utilize our main parking lot. The front visitor lot will not be available. In addition, due to the active construction zone the playground equipment at Warwick will not be available beginning June 16th and lasting approximately 4 weeks. At the end of our construction, I will send a community e-mail to notify our community of the reopening of our front parking loop and playground.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
